I think virtual events will not be going away. They may be in conjunction with live events. I know from the Federal government level, travel is being restricted more and more. Looking at travel, a per diem and then adding on another $2K+ on top invites layers of management to really look into the feasibility of going. For the last few years it’s been allowed to travel to a local VMUG or a DELL Technology tour.
But realistically, the viability of But hw the national events rests with companies like DELL & VMWare. Are they able to reach more people with virtual meetings? There is no question that in-person is better. But how much better.
