Is teleworking going to be the future? Share your views

Teleworking started maybe hundreds maybe thousands of years ago. Probably it will take a bigger part of our life. But it will not occupy the whole labour market. Different tasks require different types of work.
-
My personal view is telework does not work for everyone’s personality. I have been remote for almost 6 years and I love it, but it did take about 3 months to full embrace it and find the right balance. There are folks I know that are unable to work remotely successfully. Companies will still need to offer hot seats for those who need to come into the office.
-
Many experts predict that telework will become the new normal. One thing’s for sure – telework to some degree is here to stay. While the current focus is on keeping employees out of the office for safety reasons, telecommuting provides benefits for your business and your staff, too
-
telecommuting is becoming more common in some industries: a more reliable internet connectivity and new management practices dictated by millennials and how they work.
-
The future of work is being shaped by two powerful forces: The growing adoption of artificial intelligence in the workplace, and the expansion of the workforce to include both on- and off-balance-sheet talent.
-
Atleast for many companies and many more who will show up in future might stick to teleworking, but for some major players it might not be the same.
