  Tail End of the Meal Train…

  Unlike many of you, I don’t work in a formal IT department. We’re actually a subsidiary of a much larger corporation and left largely alone (aside from occasional edicts from self-same corporation’s IT department) and therefore have to do a lot of support internally and informally while ensuring that we don’t violate any Corporate/IT/Legal/Federal/State guidelines. (To give you a sense of what I mean, I was presumably the last person in the company to get upgraded from Windows XP, 18 months after end of life support stopped, and that only because the computer finally ended up dying and had to be replaced, simply because they lost track of my computer.)

  So I’m curious:

  1. How many of you are in the same (relative) position?
  2. What are your biggest challenges? Your biggest opportunities?
  3. What are the things in 2021 that you are most looking forward to or dreading?
  4. What is the airspeed velocity of a fully laden swallow?
