And since you can take part in a purely digital event from anywhere, potential visitors can attend without spending unproductive travel time. What’s more, with virtual trade shows and conferences, people can just log-in for the sessions they really wish to attend.

virtual events tend to be faster-paced since attendees don’t have to move from session to session or booth to booth, it can be easier to make connections with other attendees and speakers than an in-person event.
virtual event replicates a ‘physical’ location-based event, but online. It allows you to host a global conference, trade show, product launch or recruitment fair from the comfort of your home or office, using only a laptop or mobile and an internet connection.

Virtual events can never be compared to physical events.

Virtual events are growing rapidly in both quality & quantity. In-person events will always have their own charm but now they can be augmented with an online version that provides a broader reach & experience.

If you think a virtual platform can host only limited kinds of events, then you are mistaken. These platforms can be used for various events like tech conferences, virtual trade shows, career fairs, and workshops.

Both types of events have their pros and cons and like many things I belive we will end up with hybrid conferences going forward

Virtual is nice and super convenient but it cannot be compared to in person event since it’s like comparing apples with oranges. It really depends on what your preference is.
